Directions & Transportation


From Osaka Airport (Itami) to Osaka University Suita Campus: 30 minutes  

  • Take the Osaka monorail for either Saitonishi or Kadomashi to Handai-Byoin-Mae (Osaka University Medical Hospital): 4 stations ahead, 12 minutes (Figure 1)
  • Get off at Handai-Byoin-Mae and walk for 5 minutes to the conference buildings at Suita campus (C and D in Figure 2)

From Kansai International Airport (3 ways) to Osaka University Suita Campus: 2 hours 

  • Take the airport bus for Osaka station and get off at Osaka station terminal: about 60 minutes (Figure 1)

                               　　OR

  • Take the JR line for Osaka station and get off at Osaka station: about 60 minutes (Figure 1)

                           　　 AND THEN

  • Take the subway Midosuji Line (red line) at Umeda station (near to Osaka station) for Senri-Chuo station: 8 stations ahead, 21 minutes (Figure 1)
  • Get off at Senri-Chuo station and take the Osaka monorail for Saitonishi (not for Kadomashi) to Handai-Byoin-Mae (Osaka University Medical Hospital): 4 stations ahead, 14 minutes (Figure 1)
  • Get off at Handai-Byoin-Mae and walk for 5 minutes to the conference buildings at Suita campus (C and D in Figure 2)
  • Take the Nankai Line for Namba station and get off Namba station: about 60 minutes (Figure 1)

  • Take the subway Midosuji Line (red line) at Nanba station for Senri-Chuo station: 12 stations ahead, 30 minutes (Figure 1)
  • Get off at Senri-Chuo station and take the Osaka monorail for Saitonishi (not for Kadomashi) to Handai-Byoin-Mae (Osaka University Medical Hospital): 4 stations ahead, 14 minutes (Figure 1)
  • Get off at Handai-Byoin-Mae and walk for 5 minutes to the conference buildings at Suita campus (C and D in Figure 2)
