The following hotels are easily accessible to the Osaka University campus by monorail, ~ 15 minutes. Taxis are also available.

On-Campus Hotel

Within the campus, the guest house is available to faculty, researchers and international students.

Booking Blocks

  • Hotel Hankyu Expo Park
    Booking blocks of hotel rooms: 6 single rooms
    • Charge: Thursday, Friday, Sunday: 9,200 JPY/ per day (including breakfast) | Saturday: 10,700 JPY  (including breakfast)
    • Cancellation: By September 29th at the latest.
    • Note: Please say “APRU” when you reserve a hotel room.
    • Access to Osaka University: Please take Osaka monorail, and get off at “HANDAI BYOUIN MAE” station. It takes about 5 minutes.
  • Ibaraki Central Hotel
    • Booking blocks of hotel rooms: 10 semi double rooms
    • Charge: 7,446 JPY (including breakfast)
    • Cancellation: By September 29th at the latest.
    • Note: Please say “APRU” when you reserve a hotel room.
    • Access to Osaka University: by bus. (Bus number is [24] or [25].)

    • Please take a bus at JR Ibaraki station, and get off at “HANDAI IGAKUBU MAE” bus station. It takes about 20 minutes.
  • Kasugaoka House
    • Rooms: There are 21 rooms, but we do not know how many rooms we can book.
    • Charge: 3,000 JPY. (No breakfast)
    • Note: Please say “APRU” when you reserve a hotel room.
    • Access to Osaka University: Ten-minute walk from Kasugaoka house.
